La octava Bienal Internacional de Arte de Beijing bajo el tema «Un mundo colorido y un futuro compartido», copatrocinada por la Federación China de Círculos Literarios y de Arte, el Gobierno Popular de la Municipalidad de Beijing y la Asociación de Artistas de China y ejecutada por la Asociación de Artistas de China, se celebra en el Museo Nacional de Arte de China del 30 de agosto al 20 de septiembre de 2019.
La exposición muestra 640 piezas de arte de 113 países de los 5 continentes que cubren pinturas, esculturas, instalaciones, videos y técnicas mixtas (obras de países extranjeros: 447 piezas de arte de 392 artistas; obras de China: 193 piezas de arte de 203 artistas. Dos artistas costarricenses Juan Carlos Abarca y Ale Rambar participan en la exposición. Juan Carlos Abarca es un escultor quien estudió en China y Ale Rambar es un artista de cortes de papel, cuyo trabajo se basa en el análisis topográfico de la forma humana a través de composiciones tridimensionales hechas con capas de papel.
The 8th Beijing International Art Biennale
The 8th Beijing International Art Biennale under the theme of “A Colorful World and a Shared Future”, co-sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality and the China Artists Association and executed by the China Artists Association is exhibited at the National Art Museum of China from August 30 to September 20, 2019.
The exhibition involves 640 pieces of artwork from 113 countries of 5 continents covering paintings, sculptures, installations, videos and mixed media (works from foreign countries: 447 pieces of artwork from 392 artists; works from China: 193 pieces of artwork from 203 artists. Two costarican artists of called Juan Carlos Abarca and Ale Rambar take part in the exhibition. Juan Carlos Abarca studied in China and he is a sculptor, and Ale Rambar is a paper artist, whose work is based on the topographic analysis of the human form though three-dimensional compositions made with layers of paper.
